Creating a new page and setting it as the homepage on a WordPress website is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to create a new page and make it your homepage:

Step 1: Log into Your WordPress Dashboard

Log in to your WordPress website’s admin dashboard using your username and password.

Step 2: Create a New Page

1. In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to “Pages” in the left-hand menu.
2. Click on “Add New” to create a new page.
3. Give your new page a title. For example, you can name it “Home.”
4. Add content to your homepage if needed. You can use the WordPress block editor to create and format your page content.
5. When you’re done creating your homepage content, click the “Publish” button on the right side of the page editor to save your changes.

Step 3: Set the New Page as Your Homepage

After you’ve created the new page, you’ll need to set it as your website’s homepage. Here’s how:

1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to “Settings” in the left-hand menu and click on “Reading.”
2. In the “Your homepage displays” section, you’ll see two options:
   • “Your latest posts”: This option displays your most recent blog posts on the homepage.
   • “A static page”: This option allows you to select a specific page as your homepage.
3. Select the “A static page” option.
4. In the “Homepage” dropdown menu, choose the page you created earlier (e.g., “Home”).
5. Optionally, you can set another page as the “Posts page” if you want to have a separate page to display your blog posts.
6. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom to save your settings.

Step 4: Visit Your New Homepage

Now, when you visit your WordPress website’s homepage, it should display the content you created on the “Home” page.
