Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice president Maryam Nawaz said on Tuesday parliament should play its role in a bid to hold accountable those who were providing facilities to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
Expressing her reservations over the Supreme Court’s decision, Ms Nawaz said, “It is not enough from the federal cabinet to denounce the verdict delivered by a three-member bench.” Going back to 2018, she said, “The responsibility that was taken by Khosa and Saqib Nisar back in 2018, has now been taken by the current bench.”
“Today’s verdict is the last attack of the conspiracy, which was started by handing over the Punjab government to Imran Khan after rewriting the constitution,” she added.
